Paramedic Program

This comprehensive Paramedic Program meets the standards of Title 22, from the California Code of Regulations, derived from the current National Standard Curriculum and formulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The Program is full-time lasting 6 months in duration and consists of the following components: Didactic, Skills Labs, Clinical Internship, Field Experience, and Capstone Field Internship. Upon completion of the Program, a Course Completion Certificate is issued allowing students to apply for the National Registry Exam and then Licensure.

Paramedic Program Outcomes

CAAHEP Accredited Paramedic Programs and CoAEMSP Letter of Review (LoR) Programs track and report outcome measures annually to the Committee on Accreditation for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).

The most current CoAEMSP Annual Report was for the calendar year 2023.

The most recent success rate for the National Registry of EMT Paramedic/State Cognitive exam was 98.6%.

The most recent positive placement rate for graduates was 79.3%.  Positive placement is defined by the CoAEMSP as ‘Employed full or part-time in a related field and/or continuing his/her education and/or serving in the military.  Positive placement is measured at completion of the program.

The most recent retention rate was 73.2%.
