Pediatric advanced life support – PALS
The PALS provider course – Pediatric advanced life support class is designed to prepare healthcare providers with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully pass the Pals test in order to effectively and efficiently treat and manage seriously ill pediatric patients. Students will review treatment of the respiratory and circulatory systems, management of cardiac arrest and arrhythmia, and immediate post-resuscitation care.
This course is intended for Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Doctors, and professionals that must maintain a current PALS card as a condition of employment. This course is strongly recommended for the aspiring Paramedic and RN.

PALS classes run for 16 hours for first time students. PALS renewal courses run for 6 hours.
To participate in PALS, students should have a firm understanding of cardiac arryhthmias, pharmacology, and strength in ECG interpretation. You must possess a current Healthcare provider card.
